   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold mostly steady to 1.00
lower. Demand moderate. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold
primarily to the ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those
steers sold weak on light demand. Slaughter Holstein steers sold
mostly steady compared to a light test last week. Slaughter heifers
sold weak on a very light test. Slaughter cows sold 1.00-2.00 higher.
Demand moderate. Not enough Slaughter bulls for a market test. Cattle
supplies included 231 steers; 59 heifers; 373 cows; 36 bulls; and
61 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Graded Holstein 
bull calves sold mostly steady to 20.00 higher. Holstein heifer calves 
steady on another light test. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR 
program graded 375 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt.
